We’ ve always wanted to work on something together and when this song came up I just shot her a DM on Instagram, we hung out and connected as friends instantly. The song just flowed through after that.
What made you feel that her voice and style were right for this track in particular? She has a certain lilt and vulnerability in her voice that’ s really endearing. Her vocal texture is also really enjoyable to record and produce. Her Tamil diction also went really well with the vibe of this song.
“ Yethetho” talks about two people experiencing the same relationship differently. Did you draw from personal experience while writing or producing it? I did draw from personal experience as well as heard and shared experiences from among the people in my life, and
