little regard for the price we would ultimately pay. As we care for one another through all stages of life, we would be wise to be ever mindful of the delicate balance required for health, both for ourselves and for our planet. When we learn to take that same care to begin to restore harmony in our world, we will be moving in the right direction. We have allowed societies, individuals, and our Earth to be ravaged by our neglect. Disrupted harmony brings imbalance in our lives and into all that we see. We battle ourselves and we battle one another. We battle diseases and we battle ideologies in an endless belief that battle will ever have the possibility of bringing peace within sight. No, we need to learn to reestablish our rhythm so that solutions can be found through clear and balanced emotions and minds. There are real and difficult challenges to be faced, there is little doubt of that. But it is time to set aside our limited thinking and throw open our hearts and minds, so that together we can work to restore the harmony of life’s plentiful gifts. We owe it to ourselves. We owe it to our children and grandchildren. And, we owe it to Mother Earth. When we listen to the pulse of life, we will learn to cherish our own.
