KEYNOTE SPEAKER ROCKY GARZA

TECHCON 2026 IGNITED GROWTH, BIG IDEAS, AND BOLD LEADERSHIP ACROSS THE INDUSTRY

TechCon 2026 brought together 365 attendees and nearly 50 sponsors for a full day focused on growth, fresh ideas, and real conversations around where the industry is headed. Centered on this year’ s theme, IgnitYou: Spark Growth. Lead Change., the event leaned into both the personal and professional side of development and delivered on both.
EliseAI joined as the 2026 presenting sponsor, continuing their strong support of TechCon and helping make the event possible. Their partnership plays a big role in keeping this experience relevant, forward thinking, and impactful for attendees each year.
The agenda featured seven education sessions across three tracks, mindset, innovation, and leadership, giving attendees the flexibility to choose content that met them where they are in their career. Sessions focused on practical takeaways, real world application, and honest conversations about challenges and opportunities in today’ s multifamily landscape.
The day wrapped with a keynote from Rocky Garza, Lead Like You, Not Like Them, which struck a chord with the audience. His message cut through the usual leadership noise and focused on something simple but often overlooked, trusting yourself. Through a mix of reflection and actionable insights, he challenged attendees to align their values with how they show up at work, better understand the impact they are making, and take ownership through their words and actions. It was not just motivating, it was meaningful, and for many in the room, it hit on a deeper level.
In true TechCon fashion, there were also moments that kept things light and engaging. The always entertaining Minute to Win It competition brought sponsors to the stage for 60 second pitches, competing for best in show. This year’ s lineup did not disappoint, featuring everything from a live guitar performance to apartment shopping in both Spanish and English with EliseAI, along with plenty of creativity in between. While co-chair Marcella Eppsteiner could not attend in person, she still made an appearance thanks to a life size cutout welcoming attendees to the event. It was a fun, memorable touch that added to the energy of the day.
TechCon 2026 was a strong reminder that growth does not happen by accident. It starts with mindset, is fueled by innovation, and is sustained through leadership.
