PRESIDENT’ S MESSAGE
Dear ASCE-NH Members,
Welcome to spring! I am proud of the continued momentum we have built this year within our engineering community and the many ways we are advancing both our profession and our impact.
In early March, I had the opportunity to participate in the ASCE Fly-In in Washington, DC, a two-day event that brings engineers directly into conversations with policymakers. This experience reinforces the importance of advocacy and ensures that our collective voice is heard on critical infrastructure, funding, and sustainability issues. I truly believe that engagement at this level is essential in shaping the future of our built environment.
Closer to home, our Lunch and Learn program continues to thrive. These sessions have become an important resource for members to earn professional development hours while gaining practical insights, technical knowledge, and opportunities for connection. Most recently, we heard an inspiring presentation on the work that the local Engineers Without Borders chapter is doing in Uganda.
Looking ahead, the ASCE-NH Board of Directors is preparing for our Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on May 21, 2026. Please save the date and join us as we celebrate an amazing year.
Thank you for your continued engagement and support.
Warm regards,
Loga n Johnson
