ASCE 2026 Legislative Fly-In Highlights Advocacy and Engagement in Washington, DC In March 2026, civil engineers from across the country convened in Washington, DC for the ASCE Legislative Fly-In, a two- day event focused on advocacy, education, and direct engagement with federal policymakers. Comprehensive programing was designed by ASCE to prepare attendees for meaningful discussions on Capitol Hill while highlighting the most pressing infrastructure issues facing the nation.
The Fly-In began with welcome remarks from ASCE President Marsha Anderson Bomar, setting the tone for a collaborative and impactful event. Attendees then participated in a series of panels and keynote presentations centered on major legislative priorities. Discussions included the reauthorization of State Revolving Funds, surface transportation funding, and the upcoming Water Resources and Development Act of 2026. These sessions brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and subject matter experts to
