Dr. Ambedkar changed the course of Indian history

The contribution of the Scheduled Castes in the creation of independent India cannot be denied in any way. If we look at the contribution of the Scheduled Castes, 90 percent of the credit for the construction of modern India goes to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Dr. Ambedkar was the first Dalit leader who played a crucial role in shaping modern India. If we examine his contributions, it becomes clear that when laws were being framed for present-day India, Dr. Ambedkar ' s primary focus was on the landless and working-class people.

Dr. Ambedkar was among the few Indians who fought a long battle to bring about institutional changes in India ' s social and economic democracy, thus changing the course of India’ s history. Economic and social exploitation in India was a serious concern for him, and he believed that without institutional changes in society and the economy, India could not become a country of peace, happiness, and prosperity. He deliberated on issues such as landless laborers, small landholdings, ' bad systems,' ' Mahar watan,' collective farming, land revenue, monetary systems, and the abolition of zamindari. He also extensively discussed issues related to taxation. To bring about social equality, he considered the nationalization of industries and agriculture to be inevitable.
Dr. Ambedkar was a great scholar and economist. He was the only member of the parliament at his time who could present official statistics related to the Indian economy and banking with clear analysis. Dr. Ambedkar repeatedly said that phased and planned economic development, based on democratic standards, was the only way to establish
