SVRCS Drama Department presents Virgil goes to Hollywood
Virgil has never really been successful in life , yet he has always dreamed of doing something important . After finding a play he wrote when he was a little boy growing up in Lickskillit , Virgil decides to send it off to Hollywood , California , to see if anyone is interested in producing his " masterpiece ." Sure enough , he almost faints when he gets a call from Hollywood asking him to bring the play to them ! Don ' t miss this delightful show ... Friday and Saturday , April 19th and 20th , in the SVRCS Gym , 236 East Main Street inLoganton . Tickets are $ 5 for adults , $ 3 for students .
School Calendar
SVRCS has made an adjustment to the 2024 school calendar . Monday , April 8th , is now a half day with a dismissal time of 12:20pm . Families are encouraged to build excitement and participate in the viewing of the total solar eclipse , as well as practice safe viewing . This eclipse will not happen again until 2033 .
Trapping a Leprechaun
Elementary classes took on the challenge of building Leprechaun Traps . Ms . Shady ’ s class had a trap that sprung in her classroom , but the leprechaun escaped , leaving behind chocolate coins and glitter all over the floor ! The project is designed to push the students ' creativity and engineering skills to the max , while having endless fun designing and testing their traps in this STEM project .
