Spring is officially here … which is the equivalent to permanent muddy boots for the next month or two . I recently moved Streek from his winter home to my sister ’ s for the summer . I am so excited to get to spend time with my sister doing what we love every single day this summer .
March was still busy the court and I attended two events and did lots of preparing for the show season . At the beginning of March , we attended the WSCA March General Meeting . It was so fun to catch up with some old friends , new friends , and hearing from our board an update of our association . WSCA is holding a raffle this spring to help raise money for the Champ Show . If you would like to learn more about the raffle please reach out to a board or royalty member . The drawing will be held on Saturday May 6th .
The court and I are officially set with supplies for our show season . We were so excited to receive our final piece of gear , our serapes . I can not thank my talented friends enough for helping make sure our horses , and ourselves will be styled in WSCA gear . Cori and Wenda — you guys are the absolute best !
We also got to spend an entire afternoon with saddle club queens that are interested in running for the WSCA Royalty Contest at the 2023 WSCA Royalty Clinic . If any of the ladies who hold club Queen titles are interested in learning more about the contest , it is not too late ! The court and I would love to tell you about our experiences . It is truly an experience you will never forget !
This month the court and I are super excited to attend the MN Horse Expo . We will have a booth , and are so excited to see everyone at one of the bigger spring horse events . MN Horse Expo is April 28-30 and we will be there all three days ! Make sure to come out and say HI if you are at the Expo .
I am saying a prayer that the weather is warm , sunny , and dry so we can all get out and ride a little before May appears .
