I promise to engage in county-wide conversations about projects in the following general areas :
• Work to proactively develop economic projects in the county .
• Provide support for scholastic , trade , & higher education programs in the county .
• Work to create and enhance nature-based tourism projects in the county , and partner with DEP & DCNR to make this process work as smoothly as possible for companies / groups trying to implement these types of projects .
• Work to create cooperative and regionalized services in the county , such as governmental units , police , fire , and EMS services , to allow for better overall services and less duplication of efforts .
• Work to maintain the current level of the county tax rate or find ways to reduce the size of county government to allow for a tax reduction .
• Work with the Keystone Central School District , County Office of the District Attorney , and local Non-Profit Organizations on Family Support Programs and Programs to lessen the impact of drug issues in our community .
