Parkman School Clothing Drive
Parkman School will be collecting gently used spring & summer clothing for adults and children . We will be donating items collected to a local charity . Donations will be collected for the entire month of April . Donated items can be dropped off at Parkman School , Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 and 2:00 or items can be brought into school by the children .
ROAR Assembly
Our next virtual ROAR Assembly will take place on April 8th at 9:00 am . We will be acknowledging the March ROAR Award recipients during the assembly . This event will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams LIVE . Classroom teachers will stream the assembly on their Apple TV at this time . All families are invited to watch the assembly as well . Bikes For Reading
Spring is right around the corner ! Wouldn ’ t it be great if your child had the opportunity to win a bike ? Paradiso Insurance has graciously offered to sponsor their Bikes for Reading Program to the students at Parkman School . There will be two opportunities for your child to win a bike ! Beginning on March 7th through March 31st , the students are encouraged to read for 20 minutes every weeknight and turn in their reading logs on April 1st . The second opportunity will start on April 4th through May 5th . Students will be asked to turn in their reading logs on May 6th . If the students have met the criteria , their names will be entered into a drawing where one lucky participant from each grade level will have the opportunity to win a bike . School personnel will reach out to the parents of the lucky winners for the correct bike size and the age of the child . Assemblies will be held on April 25th and May 23rd to announce the winners . You may want to keep it a secret if your child wins a bike until it is announced at the
