HEAD GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Dear Member ,
Now that April is here , we are beginning to see some of our northern members head back home . I would like to say to those of you in that category , that it has been a pleasure serving you this season and I hope you have safe travels . This was one of our busiest seasons in my tenure here at SNL and I am proud of the job my team has done navigating through it all . They excel at customer service and create an environment that makes golfers feel welcomed . It is bittersweet to announce that we are losing one our best employees at the end of April , Assistant Professional JJ Acevedo . He is taking a Head Professional position at the Country Club of Sebring and is going to be a fantastic addition to their team . I take a lot of pride seeing our assistant professionals move on to leadership roles . He will be dearly missed and very hard to replace but the search is already on for the next quality professional to join the team . Below is a note from JJ to the membership :
I would like to take a moment to thank everyone at Sun N Lake for a great 5 years . The time has come for me to move onto the next chapter in my golf career . I have accepted the Head Pro position at the Country Club of Sebring . My last day here at Sun N Lake will be April 30th . I have cherished my time here and the lifelong friendships I have made along the way . Again , I thank you all for the wonderful years and making me feel at home .

This month we will again host the American Junior Golf Association April 8-10 . The AJGA is the proving ground for many of the top junior golfers in the nation . So many of the elite tour stars on both the PGA and LPGA tours competed in the AJGA . I am excited to host these youngsters which will also include my daughter
Rebecca Kesling . She is very excited to compete in her very first AJGA event . If you would like to volunteer for this event , please let me know and I ’ ll send you the volunteer link to sign up .
We will have a Taylormade and Callaway Demo Day on April 20th . If you would like to get a professional fitting for new clubs , please sign up for an appointment at the golf shop counter . Also , mark your calendar for any upcoming April events you would like to participate in .
