school where they taught 10 + riders the basics from bike set up , turns , how to read and ride a section , etc . They even had a complete practice section set up to help them gain valuable experience in preparation for the next day ' s trial . Next up was a slow wheelie competition , and an engine-off balance competition ; winners of each earned a prize . The final activity on Saturday was the fire and a raffle . Tickets for the raffle cannot be purchased , but they can be earned by telling a story . Saturday ’ s story topic was tell a memory , preferably funny , about riding motorcycles . Once everyone at the fire has had an opportunity to earn a ticket the prizes were drawn and awarded . The night ended with the usual music , a dance party ( you know who you are ), and slightly embellished stories being told around the campfire .
Sunday began with event organizers getting up early to fix the sections , for the third time , due to high wind damage , and re-routing the loop due to other campers camped on the loop . With that , the stage was set for a great trial .
Roughly 66 people signed up to compete , with quite a few others out to hang out and free ride . Plonkers have started offering what they call the " Enduro line " which was the brainchild of local Plonker legend Johnny Ringo . The idea is to create a line where riders of standard
