Four weeks before this event , Monika Gilliam broke her foot and toe ; despite concerns over re-injuring herself , Monika took to the course and battled her way to a 3rd-place finish in the WOMEN ' s class out of 14 riders . On her YouTube channel , she comments that this was probably one of her favorite track layouts of the season so far , and you can definitely tell from her video footage .
