Throughout my time as a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association (“ PBCBA ”), it has been my honor to both serve and lead the legal community with passion . To continue my service , I am running for the Board of Directors . I have been an active member of PBCBA since 2009 , having Co-Chaired the 2018 Bench Bar Conference and the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion . I am also a member of the Judicial Campaign Practices Commission and previously served on the Professionalism Committee . Further , I have served in leadership positions for the F . Malcolm Cunningham , Sr . Bar Association , the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers , and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority , Inc . I have been recognized for my leadership and professionalism , which includes receiving the 2021 Sidney A . Stubbs Professionalism Award .
If elected , I will bring strong leadership skills , a forward-thinking mindset , and a hard work ethic to the Board of Directors . Due to the pandemic and societal climate , rapid change is happening and we face many challenges in our legal profession . More than ever , PBCBA needs leaders that are transformative and innovative . My goals for the Board of Directors include the following : ( 1 ) increasing membership of and providing more support to government , solo practitioner , and young lawyers ; ( 2 ) launching more initiatives to promote diversity , inclusion , and equity within the legal profession , ( 3 ) engaging members and addressing member concerns ; and ( 4 ) creating a “ members only ” section on the PBCBA website to promote networking and referrals . I look forward to the opportunity to serve you .

In 2013 , I returned home to Palm Beach County from the University of Florida to begin my legal career . Since that time I have been an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association , specifically including our Young Lawyer Section . I joined the YLS Board in 2014 and since that time has served in all positions of its Executive Board and I currently serve as the YLS President . Serving the members of the YLS has been one of the best experiences of my legal career thus far .
In addition to serving on the Board of the YLS , I have also served as a committee member for our Association ’ s Bench Bar Conference . Over the past approximately seven years serving the members of our Association , I have gained invaluable insight into our members ’ needs as well as how our Association operates on a day-to-day basis . I look forward to serving the members of our Association as a member of its Board of Directors for years to come . Thank you for your support .
