We are actively mon- itoring updates regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following precautions and guidelines provided by the CDC and public officials. During this time we wanted to provide some best prac- tices around how to clean your Club Car vehicle to help curtail the spread of the virus. CLEANING VS. DISINFECTING According to the World Health Organization, cleaning refers to removing germs, dirt and impurities from surfaces. Cleaning does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection. Disinfecting refers to using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection. Cleaning and/or disinfecting are both important ways to prevent the spread of COVID19. 42 WWW.GOLFCAROPTIONS.COM • Wear Appropriate Gear • Prepare Your Disinfectant • Wipe Down Surfaces • Clean Visible Dirt • Use Caution When Using/Mixing Cleaners • Keep Hand Sanitizer Close
