By your results, it seems like you don't really care about humanity, water or wildlife. If a baby turtle stuck in a plastic bag doesn't tear your heart apart, I don't know what will. The hardest part about changing is starting. So start with the least 1. Stop Buying Plastic Bottles It is very likely that you have a lot of plastic bottles at home, just sitting in your room or your fridge, and they'll probably just be thrown away or lost. But that's fine, right? You'll just buy new ones whenever you go to a restaurant or the supermarket. NO! Buying plastic bottle after bottle is not fine at all! They never disintegrate and will most likely end up in the oceans. So please, the next time you're thirsty, give metal or thermal bottles a chance. you can do as a responsible citizen and human being: Read about environmental issues and plastic waste. Maybe then, you will realize how important it is to preserve our resources and how limited they are. Not standing up for what's wrong is contributing to the problem. If you scored 3-5 points - You're getting there. You're half way there. Still got a lot to learn, but 2. Recycle You might not realize it but there's plastic in almost everything you buy. From shampoo bottles to tooth brushes, plastic composes most of our daily products. It is hard to to get rid of most of them as there aren't any alternative solutions for them - yet. But don't overthink it too much, you can always recycle. Only 9 percent of the plastic produced between 1950 and 2015 was recycled. Help humanity raise that number. Don't dispose. Recycle. you're definitely doing better than many people. At least you know plastic pollution is an alarming and increasing issue that needs to be stopped as fast as possible. Humans created the problem, so it's up to us to end it. Try learning a little bit more about the topic and then you'll be good to go. Our future depends on all of us, and we should spread the awareness. Talk to to those who don't have a clue where to start, and make sure you don't lose your interest in important environmental topics like this, the Earth needs you! You know everything there is to know about plastic pollution and the terrible consequences it has on our oceans and animals. Don't lose hope; if more people join the cause we'll be able to reverse the critical situation we find ourselves in. Fight for what you believe in, that way you'll know you did everything you could to save our home, Earth. 3. Change your ways Instead of bringing your groceries home in many plastic bags, use your own carryall shopping bags. Avoid using plastic cups and plates, as well as straws. Make your own fresh juice instead of buying plastic juice boxes. Switch your disposable razor for one with replaceable blades. Buy laundry detergent in paper boxes, not plastic containers. I could go on forever, but I think you get the message. There's so much you can do. So why are you waiting to start?
