Choosing
the Best
Seat Covers
E
ven though a seat cover
is a pretty straightfor-
ward piece of covering,
that doesn’t mean you
should skimp on the
details. Considering
that you’ll be sitting on
your cover day in and
day out means that you should take
the time to find the right model for
you. Not only do you have to make
sure that it fits your cart, but you
have to ensure that it meets your
needs. Here are the top three things
to look for in a golf cart seat cover.

Material
Choosing the right material depends
on how exactly you want your cover
to feel, as well as how well you want
it to hold up against the elements.
Since a golf cart is more or less
exposed to the weather, you need a
seat cover that can withstand almost
any condition. Conventional seat
cover materials are synthetic fabrics,
terry cloths, and fleece.
Each material has benefits and
downsides regarding softness,
durability, and functionality. Overall,
pick a cover that provides you with
exceptional comfort and can be
cleaned relatively easily. For my mon-
ey, I like synthetic fabrics, but fleece
is another great option.
