Jessie James Royal
JESSIE JAMES ROYAL
LITTLETON–Jessie James
Royal, 29, of Littleton, passed
away on April 17, 2017 at Dart-
mouth Hitchcock Medical Center
in Lebanon. He was born on Oct.
4, 1987 in Claremont to Melissa
Davis and Matthew Royal.
He grew up in Newport and
Claremont, where he enjoyed all
outdoor activities including
snowmobiling, four-wheeling,
and anything involving his older
brother Harley. He attended
public schools and obtained his
GED. Jessie loved working out-
doors and made a living doing
paving, roofing, construction and
firewood, and after he became
unable to work he was the best
stay-at-home dad anyone could
ask for. While living in Cole-
brook, he met his fiancé Shannon
Howland. The couple has lived in
Tamworth, Whitefield, and most
recently Littleton.
Jessie was very artistic and
enjoyed drawing and tattoo art
(both giving and receiving).
Other passions of his include
going fishing, driving, and listen-
ing to music. Jessie had a rough
exterior yet a heart of gold. He
loved deeply and loved spending
time outdoors and with his chil-
dren. He always had a smile on
his face when spending time with
his family and close friends. He
was a wonderful partner/fiancé,
father, son and brother who was
and will continue to be an inspi-
ration to all. “His story of
strength, determination, cour-
age, and passion for life will live
with us forever,” writes the fam-
ily.
Jessie leaves behind a large
group of family and friends who
will continue to love him, miss
him, and keep his memory alive.
He is survived by his fiancé
Shannon Howland of Littleton,
his daughter Adaleine Creigh-
ton, 10, his son Parker Royal, 5,
and his step-daughter Breeah
Normand, 12; his mother Melissa
"Missy" Royal of Churchville,
Va., his father Matthew Royal
and step-mother R
