in the Knights of Columbus Fr.
Simard Council and fourth
degree of the Bishop Bradley
Assembly. He was the treasurer
for many years for the Children
of Hope Foundation. He loved
gardening and spending time
with his grandchildren.
Roland is survived by his
wife of 57 years, Rose “Rosa”
(Gaudette) Roberge of Groveton;
four children: Theresa Houde
and husband Leonard of St.
Petersburg, FL; John Roberge
of Lebanon and his twin sister
Judy Harris and husband Weldon
of Juneau, La.; and James
Roberge and partner John Main
of St. Petersburg, Fla.; six
grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
He was predeceased by his
parents and his only sibling,
Robert Roberge, on Jan. 29, 2016.
Calling hours will be held on
Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. at the ArmstrongCharron Funeral Home in
Groveton. Mass of Christian
Burial will be held on Monday,
April 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at the
St. Francis Xavier Church in
Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau,
pastor
officiating.
Spring
interment with military honors
will be on Friday, May 6, 2016 at
1 pm in the Northumberland
Cemetery.
