The family received visitors at
Jenkins and Newman Funeral
Home on Thursday, April 7,
2016, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a
short funeral service immediately following at the funeral
home. A graveside interment
service will be later in the spring
in the Colebrook Village Cemetery, of which notice will be given.

ROBERGE
GROVETON–Roland Henry
Roberge, 88, of Cottage Street in
Groveton, died peacefully on
Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at
Country Village-Genesis Elder
Care Center in Lancaster with
his loving wife by his side.
Roland was born in Berlin on
June 27, 1927 a son of Lucien
and Irene (Brien) Roberge. He
was a veteran of the US Air
Force serving during the Korean
War. After serving in the
military he moved to Groveton in
1954 and went to work at the
paper mill and worked for thirtyfive years until he retired from
James River Corp. in 1989.
He was a member of the
American Legion, Post 17 of
