Rosario L. Dupont
ROSARIO L. DUPONT
LUNENBURG–Rosario L.
“Rosie” Dupont, 83, of Neal Pond,
died at his home Thursday evening, April 7, 2016 after a brief
illness. He was surrounded by
his family.
Dupont was born in North
Stratford on July 12, 1932, the
son of Rosario T. and Thelma
Lorena (Daniels) Dupont. In
1953 he served for two years in
the US Army, 5th Infantry Division in the Korean Conflict and
was a long time member of the
VFW in Lancaster. Shortly after
returning home he married
Patricia McLaughlin on February 21, 1955.
Rosie was as avid hunter and
fisherman, a passion he passed
along to his sons and grandsons.
He enjoyed conversations about
their hunting and fishing expeditions. For 15 years he enjoyed
working alongside his son, Tom,
on Knight Riders Charter boat
on Lake Champlain. Every year
he participated in the Lake
Champlain International fishing
tournaments. He owned his own
airplane, a Piper Cherokee and
enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed
flying with his grandsons in a
seaplane. He worked as a maintenance facility supervisor for S.
Bent Furniture in Whitefield
from 1967-1998.
Rosie and Pat built the home
they lived in for 56 years on Neal
Pond in Lunenburg, Vt. He cut
the timber he used to build their
home off their property. He loved
sitting by the campfire by the
lake with family and friends.
Every summer he and Pat would
take two weeks and travel all
over North America. His favorite
vacation was to Labrador where
he was very impressed by Bowater Paper Mill. Rosie was always
willing to offer a helping hand
and assisted his neighbors with
projects.
Surviving family members
include his wife of 61 years,
Patricia Dupont of Lunenburg
Vt.; He is survived by son, Larry
Dupont and wife, Mary, and two
grandsons, Ben and Patrick of
North Hero, Vt.; son, Tom
Dupont and fiancé Donna Christiansen of Morrisville, Vt.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated Saturday
morning April 23 at 11 a.m. at
All Saints Church in Lancaster.
Rev. Daniel Deveau, pastor of St.
Francis Xavier Church in
Groveton will officiate. A celebration of life with military honors
will be held this summer at his
home on Neal Pond. An
announcement will be made at a
later date.
Rosie's life was well lived and
he will be dearly missed by his
family and friends.

‘Butch’ Roberts, 75, of Grandview
Drive, died at his home Saturday
evening, April 16, 2016.
Roberts was born in Lancaster on May 17, 1940 the son
of John D. and Myrtle V. (Johannesen) Roberts.
He attended Lancaster Acad-
emy for two years and went on to
New Hampton Prep School to
complete his primary education.
At New Hampton he was captain
of the baseball and basketball
teams and won the Meservey
Award for best all around student athlete. From there he
attended the University of New
Hampshire and graduated from
the Whittemore Business School.
On Sept. 8, 1963 he married
Margaret ‘Peggy’ Dickson of
Colebrook.
Butch is best known as a local
entrepreneur and long-time
owner of Robert’s Motor Sales. A
family automobile business he
operated with his father and late
brother John D. Roberts Jr. He
was twice past president of the
New Hampshire Automobile
Dealers Assn., past president of
the Lancaster Rotary, member of
the Chamber of Commerce, past
member and chairman of the
Lancaster Grand Prix, and
served on the Colonel Town
Spending Committee. For 37
years he was a director on the
Lancaster National Bank Board
and served as chairman for 17
years. He was also a Free and
Accepted Mason, a 32nd Degree
member of the Shrine, and member of the Lancaster Snowdrifters. He served six years with the
National Guard, 197th Battalion.
Butch enjoyed life and loved
to hunt, fish, snowmobile, golf,
meet new people and vacationing
in Florida. He especially loved
spending time with his family
and having cookouts and gatherings at the family camp on Maidstone Lake.
Surviving family members
include a son, Michael Roberts
and his wife Shelli of Lancaster;
two daughters Michelle ‘Shelly’
Stinehour and her husband John
of Lunenburg, Margaret ‘Meg’
Murray and her husband Ray of
Lancaster; a sister Joanne Muise
of Pittsburg; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by
Peggy in 2012 and his brother
John in 1991.
At Butch’s request there are
no visiting hours. A graveside
service with military honors will
be held Friday morning, April
29th at 11 a.m. in Summer Street
Cemetery in Lancaster. Reverend Timothy Brooks, pastor of
St. Paul’s Church, Lancaster,
will officiate. Following the service a Celebration of Life will be
held at Butch’s home on Grandview Drive.

LANCASTER–Dorothy “Dot”
Josephine (Breault) Beliveau, 90,
formerly of Brooklyn Street in
Groveton, died peacefully on
Monday, April 18, 2016 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care
Center in Lancaster.
Dorothy was born in West
Stewartstown on Aug. 19, 1925
a daughter of Felix and Florence
(Parrish) Breault. She was a
resident of Groveton since 1959.
She enjoyed Senior Meals and
spending time with her friends
at the St. Francis Xavier Church.
Dorothy is survived by her
daughter Rita Hartlen and husband Donald of Groveton; a son
Dennis Beliveau and Shirley of
Groveton; five granddaughters
and one grandson; sixteen greatgrandchildren; her sister Pearl
Styles of North Haverhill; two
brothers Chester Breault of
Groveton and Lester Breault of
Montpelier, Vt.; many nieces,
nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her
parents and husband of 53 years,
Robert J. Beliveau; her siblings
Mary Deering, Alice Johnston,
Geraldine Armeburg, Leon
Breault, Albert Breault, Arthur
Breault and Harry Breault; two
sons and grandson EK Hartlen.
Calling hours will be held on
Thursday, April 21, 2016 from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in
Groveton. Mass of Christian Service will be held on Friday, April
22, 2016 at 11:00 am at the St.
Francis Xavier Church in
Groveton with Fr. Daniel
Deveau, pastor officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery on Brown
Road in Groveton.

86, of Ridgeview Terrace, died at
his home Tuesday morning, April
19, 2016.
Ridley was born in Springvale, Maine on Aug. 15, 1929, the
son of Allen W. and Mildred
(Ham) Ridley. He attended
schools in Sanford, Maine and
was a graduate of Sanford High
School. He served with the US
Army in WWII during the occupation of Germany.
Most of his life he worked as
a forester and was employed for
a time with the U.S. Forest Service and later True Temper Corp.
Ralph enjoyed spending time
with his family and friends and
“puttering” in the woods.
Surviving family members
include his wife Emily J.
(Thompson) Ridley of Dalton;
four children, Ralph Garey Ridley Jr. and his wife Donna of
Littleton, Thomas Porter Ridley
and significant other Linda
Emery of Lisbon, Mark Allen
Ridley and wife Bethany of Lancaster, Bethany Ann Ridley and
fiancée Kenny Ling of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; eight grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren; a
brother Glen Ridley of Springvale, Maine; a sister Joyce Sawyer of Blandon, Penn. and many
nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by three sisters,
Roberta Blanchette, Jean Roark,
and Francis Baertschi.
Visiting hours will be held
Thursday evening April 21, from
5-7 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home,
Lancaster. A funeral service will
be held Friday afternoon at 1
p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Lou Going, pastor of the
Whitefield Christian Church,
will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.

Fish, 100, of Pittsburg, passed
away at the Upper Connecticut
Valley Hospital early on Tuesday
morning, April 19, 2016, after a
long life and a more recent period
of failing health.
Bernice was born on the
family farm on Indian Stream
Road in Pittsburg on Nov. 22,
1915, a daughter of the late
