Hi there!
I hope you all have been doing well over the last month. I wish the weather would start warming up a bit here in Central Minnesota. Hopefully in April we will have more luck and less snow! Despite the cold I have been venturing out to the barn to spend more time with my mare, Lady. I am getting ready to jump back in the saddle this month, as I have given my girl some much-deserved time off. Olive started training last month and seems to be enjoying herself. I’ m so delighted to see this mare under saddle! She is so sweet, and her future is very bright! Birdie is also back in training after a few months off and I am looking forward to working with her more this season. I am so excited to see all of our girls healthy, back to work. I have been very busy the last couple of months launching my new company, Never Enough Show Clothing and Design. I have been working many late hours creating original designs and new products. I am so excited to share them soon and see them in the show pen! My husband has been incredibly supportive as I navigate these new waters and bring my business to life!
I am counting the days until my first show of the season! Every spring my mom and I start planning our show schedule. We always check the On Deck site regularly for new show listings. I like to challenge myself every year by creating new goals for me and each of my horses. Not all of these goals are ribbons, trophies, and buckles. I like to set goals that go farther than the arena and focus on each individual horse partnership. This year my goal for Lady is to carry a flag and improve our bareback riding as a team. Birdie and I are going to work on improving our showmanship maneuvers and neck reining. Olive’ s goal this year is to continue learning how to be a show horse. Last season, Olive was a dream
