were things he truly wanted to say and just could not. I think that’s true of all of us kids. Faith Filled Family: Finally, is there a favorite quote of your brother Rich that you could share with us? Or maybe a favorite scripture? David Mullins: That’s a question I’ve never been asked before, so good job! I love the quote in the movie where he talks about what’s the most theologically profound statement ever made and he talks about Jesus loves me. I love that monologue in the movie which actually for me, being on set and watching the whole thing, it was probably the most emotional time for me, it was those monologues. Because they were most likely directly taken from concert footage, etc. Those were all quotes that Rich had said. That was one of the things I loved about Dave Schultz and one of the things I loved about writing the movie. Many thanks to Mr. David Mullins for taking time out and sharing with us about his brother Rich Mullins and the legacy of his life. We are thankful and appreciative for Rich’s contributions to the world through his music and through insight into his own personal journey of discovering and uncovering the truth of God’s love and grace.
