Foreword
People in this world have different views on academic success. Some people
think that academic success is measured by scores on examinations, while some may
think that it should be measured by the happiness in learning. From my point of view, I
think academic success is that students can learn in an effective way and have
enjoyment in the learning process. Students can find learning interesting and have
motivation if the learning process is effective, and thus learning becomes enjoyable and
the chance of getting good academic results will be greater.
In preparing this book, our team was guided by our experience and interest in
teaching IBDP Mathematics. This book is designed to help students to have a good
preparation in the brand new challenging two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma
Program. This book helps students to review all important concepts in Applications and
Interpretation, and help students to understand how to start to answer a question and
get familiar with assessment-styled questions. No doubt, this book can help you
