Key Highlights:
“ I know how to apply for a degree apprenticeship” shows the largest effect— a very strong impact.“ I know how to search for apprenticeship vacancies”,“ I know enough about degree apprenticeships to decide whether to apply or not” and“ I know what studying and working as a degree apprenticeship will be like” showed large effects, indicating strong improvements in practical knowledge and confidence.
All other questions showed small to medium positive effects, reinforcing the workshops overall impact. However, Q6 shows a small negative effect, suggesting minimal change or a slight decrease in intent to apply, which is perhaps understandable considering some students have already decided that the apprenticeship is not for them, which is a valid outcome of the workshop.
In the post survey, the students were asked what they found most useful and what they would add or change for future workshops. Table 13: Written comments from post-16 students
