The Union Minister for Textiles, Smt. Smriti Zubin
Irani launched Project SU.RE, a move towards
sustainable fashion. It was launched by the
Minister, along with the Clothing Manufacturers
Association of India (CMAI), United Nations in
India, and IMG Reliance.
SU.RE, which stands for ‘Sustainable
Resolution’, is a commitment made by 16 of
India’s topmost apparel brands to carve out a
sustainable pathway for the country’s
fashion industry.

Circular Changemakers
Created with the help of Intellecap’s Circular
Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF) in partnership
with the Circular Design Challenge programme
(CDC), Circular Changemakers unveiled the six
shortlisted start-ups that aim to make the fashion
ecosystem circular and sustainable.
Rooted Objects
Rooted Objects, India’s first online marketplace
for sustainable luxury, announced the unveiling
of its unique digital installation titled ‘Full Circle: A
Hologram’, marking the brand’s first presence at a
major fashion week in India.
The Voice of Fashion
The Voice of Fashion, a digital fashion magazine,
brought forth the live version of its interview
format: ‘Questions No One Asks’. Moderating the
discussion was Shefalee Vasudev, Editor, The Voice
of Fashion, with panelists Wendell Rodricks, Rajesh
Pratap Singh, Rohit Bal, Shahab Durazi, and
David Abraham.
Master Class: Fashion for Good
The Master Class on Circular Fashion, supported
by Circular Design Challenge was equal parts
innovative and insightful, and was conducted
by Priyanka Khanna, who leads International
