YOUR BRAND NAME?
TATTVa.Puresoul is a brand carved out of our
deep desire to make the world greener and
more sustainable. Tattva, as a word, translates
to ‘element’ in English. Our brand reflects the
basic elements that form our world. We combine
Mother Nature with our country’s rich cultural
heritage to create products for fashion-savvy
customers. Our products are made of entirely
biodegradable materials and we use organic
components such as kala cotton to weave our
saris. Every sari we weave represents the soul of
the earth.

CAN YOU TALK ABOUT HOW TATTVA
HAS REACHED EVERY CORNER
OF INDIA?
Our journey started six years ago, in 2013, in
Champanagar, Bihar, with just three women
weavers. It was a challenge I undertook, given
how male-dominated this sector—and the
society at large—is. Today, Tattva has more than
50 women from as far as Bhagalpur and West
Bengal to Gujarat and Rajasthan.
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR
PRODUCTS.
We are into designing and manufacturing linen
and cotton saris—along with other products—
organically. We have weavers around the country,
who craft these products for our clients. Our
pieces can mainly be categorised as ‘regular’
and ‘designer’. Our exclusive range is made to
order, where we custom-make designer products
for the clients, carrying out design and fabric
discussions with them. This range starts from
R10,000, and our regular range, from R3,000.
