Ahmedabad's Bubble Bee Export House invests in
state-of-the-art facility
Mainly known as the denim
and printing hub, Ahmedabad
is also continuously growing
into a garmenting segment with
various companies expanding
their capacity as well as investing
in latest technology. Bubble
Bee Export House is one of
them. It recently invested Rs. 15
crore to have a state-of-the-art
garment factory in the city. Now,
the company has a total of 350
machines including advanced and
automatic ones like Zoje, Juki
etc. The company has an online
production system as well as push
bar systems which make the factory

is to produce quality garments at
minimum cost, so we are taking
care of each minute detail. Least
dependency on labour, minimum
material movement, minimum
alteration and quick response are

The company mainly caters to
its stores in Kuwait and Dubai
in export with 30 per cent of its

current business coming from the
domestic market as it works with
brands like Fab India and more.
Expecting a growth of 40 to 50 per
cent, the company is in the process
to add new clients like Pantaloons
and more, to its kitty. Similarly, at
international level, Saudi Arabia
is also on its radar. Out of the
company’s total production, 30 per
cent is basic and the rest is value
added. It produces an entire range
of womenswear including western,
ethnic, lounge and nightwear.
MoT held National Conclave on creating synergy
for MSMEs in textiles' sector
Ministry of Textiles (MoT)
recently organised a national
conclave on creating synergy
for MSMEs in the textiles sector.
An exhibition showcasing
achievements of the MSMEs of
the textiles sector was also held
on this occasion and a booklet
on Ease of Doing business was
also released. Fifteen MoUs were
signed to facilitate foreign trade
of textiles and handicrafts items
while a short film on outreach
support programme of the Textiles
Ministry was also screened during
the conclave. these, 39 districts were identified
for textiles sector – 12 for
handloom, 19 for handicrafts and
8 for powerloom.
It is pertinent to mention here that
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi,
had launched the support and
outreach 100 days programme
for MSMEs on 2nd November
2018, identifying one hundred
districts in various sectors
across the country. Amongst Addressing the event, Smriti
Irani, Minister of Textiles
said that during the outreach
programme, the Government
has ensured that the relevant
information related to the Central
Government schemes reaches
beneficiaries. She said that

Rs. 6,500 crore Mudra loan has
been sanctioned to the MSMEs
of textiles domain. Minister of
Social Justice and Empowerment,
Dr. Thawar Chand Gehlot
said that 70 per cent of people
working in MSMEs of Textile
Ministry belong to SC/ST and
OBC categories and urged the
weavers and handicraft people to
avail the benefit of the schemes of
his Ministry.
