In the past few months,
we participated in three
international sourcing events
and overall response was
okay. In Who’s Next, Paris,
the response was not very
good while COTERIE, New
York was quite good for us.
Compared to Europe, US is
still comparatively a better
market for India, so it may be
a reason that we had better
experience in New York-based
events. The IIGF was just okay
as we met six good buyers but
it is too early to say anything
about order conversion
from them.

Every year, we participate in
few trade exhibitions and this
time we explored IIGF. It was
our first-ever participation in
this show and we exchanged
visiting cards with nearly
40 visitors. Among them,
buying agents and buying
houses were more. Normally
we don’t prefer to work with
buying agents as working with
them increases the chances
for disputes.

add Jaipur market. So far, we
did not have reach in Jaipur
market but now we are quite
hopeful about making our
presence felt in this market.
Though we could not have
much interaction with direct
overseas buyers, despite
that, we are happy with the
fair as it was turned out to
be worthwhile.
