LAPF Studio opened in Tirupur

irla Cellulose, a trusted name
in Viscose Staple Fibre (VSF)
by Aditya Birla Group, has opened
its LAPF (Liva Accredited Partner
Forum) design studio in Tirupur.
Tirupur, the knitting hub of India,
has now become the third location
globally after Noida and New York
to have a LAPF Design Studio. The
launch of the studio was attended
by Dilip Gaur, Business Director,
Pulp and Fibre Business, Aditya
Birla Group and Managing
Director, Grasim Industries, and
Raja M. Shanmugham, President
Tirupur Exporters’ Association
(TEA). The LAPF Studio serves
as a one-stop customer experience
centre for innovation, technical,
product, and marketing solutions.
In Tirupur, the studio has more
than 2,000 fabric innovations
of viscose, modal & excels to
offer. Technical specifications
and uniqueness of the fabric are
available in a wide variety of
fabrics including woven, knitted,
flat knitted etc. LIVA’s seasonal
collection, specially designed by
the in-house designers, will be on
display at the studio to align global
buyers to the cluster.

In another development, Birla
Cellulose has collaborated with
Ankur Textiles (lifestyle division
of Arvind limited) to launch
a wide range of LIVA Fabrics
with 100 per cent modal, 100
per cent viscose & amp; viscose
blends. LIVA range of fabrics is
introduced under Ankur Textiles
fabric brands Zoya, Blossom &
amp; Glam & amp; and Glory.
This range has been carefully
crafted to meet the requirement
of western & amp and ethnic
womenswear. Brijesh Bhati, CEO,
Ankur Textiles shared, “The
launch of this collection marks our
expansion into multi-fibre fabrics
as a fashionable alternative to
