Japan Apparel Imports
January 2019
Japanese apparel import kicks off 2019 with
declining unit prices; a positive sign
Japan escalated its apparel imports, both in volumes and
values, supported by low unit prices that it got from its suppliers.
Bangladesh, as predicted, started off massively with 34.82 per
cent surge in value of its exports. The success of Bangladesh can
be again attributed to its capability of providing buyers with desired
quality in low cost; something Bangladesh is always known for. India
and Vietnam too noted growth in the first month of the year in their
respective apparel exports to Japan.
