for their overwhelming response.
He stated, “Around six months
back, when we began to develop
this concept, we identified three
key influencers that are core to
the success of the show namely
Opportunity, Knowledge and
Inspiration. Opportunity, as we all
understand, is through this platform,
which works for both the exhibitors
and retailers… We are happy that our
show proved successful from every
aspect.”
If Day-1 of ASW witnessed
participation of more than 2,000

the record of 2,000 swiftly!

deals with potential vendors. “I
met teams from Bestsellers, Ceilo

Sandeep, while Md. Sajjadur
Rahman, Director of Laila Styles
Limited from Bangladesh on his part
underlined, “We are quite happy with
ASW as we met few very good and big

such events in other countries as
well so that we can meet more global
retailers to get bulk orders.” Similar
was the experience and opinion of
many more exhibitors.
Some of the emerging start-ups and
growing apparel manufacturers also
visited the show and they were happy
as the show served their purpose,
be it sourcing of smaller MOQ or
direct interaction with top-notch
professionals of Indian fashion retail.
For them, the show proved to be a
big learning platform and motivated
them to focus more on organised
