Opportunity, as we all understand, is through this platform, which works for both the exhibitors and retailers… We are happy that our show proved successful from every aspect.” If Day-1 of ASW witnessed participation of more than 2,000 visitors, the final day surpassed the record of 2,000 swiftly! Sajjadur Rahman, Director of Laila Styles Limited from Bangladesh on his part underlined, “We are quite happy with ASW as we met few very good and big retailers. They were impressed with our collections and wished to start sourcing from us soon. I must say Apparel Resources should organise such events in other countries as well so that we can meet more global retailers to get bulk orders.” Similar was the experience and opinion of many more exhibitors. Some of the emerging start-ups and growing apparel manufacturers also visited the show and they were happy as the show served their purpose, be it sourcing of smaller MOQ or direct interaction with top-notch professionals of Indian fashion retail. For them, the show proved to be a big learning platform and motivated them to focus more on organised Indian domestic market. “It’s been two days of activities and the show has completely blown my mind.
