Perry Ellis International records double-digit
growth in Q4

announced the financial results
for the fourth quarter and fiscal
2017-18. During the quarter
under review, the fashion
retailer reported an 11.3 per cent
increase in its total revenue to
US $ 227 million as compared
to US $ 204 million in the
corresponding period last fiscal.

the increase in business across
all segments.

Tom Tailor mulls retail expansion in India

Tailor, being promoted by the
Inceptra Lifestyle in India, is
now planning to increase its
store count in the country. The
fashion brand is currently present
in Gurugram and Saket in New
Delhi and recently took part in
the Amazon India Fashion Week
(AIFW) Autumn/Winter 2018
edition as well to showcase its
collection for the Indian market.
Historic Romance, Boss Girl, Rock
and Frock were three themes
that the brand worked on in its
collection presented during the
Fashion Week. The retailer is
mulling to foray into the markets
of Kolkata and some other places
in the country. It is eyeing for a
good location to go for new retail
stores. “We have big expansion
plans to make people aware of
the brand,” Devendra Gupta was
quoted as saying by news agency
IANS. Tom Tailor desires to be
relevant wherever it goes, so the
retailer aims to make sure it has a
proper retail space to better serve
its customers. It is also planning
to cover 46 cities in terms of
distribution. In addition to brick
and mortar stores, the brand
is also retailed through online
fashion portals such as Jabong
and Myntra in India.

was founded in 1962 and it is
today one of the leading fashion
brands in Europe. Casualwear and
accessories for men, women and
children are the major products
that are retailed by the brand. The
Group is known for offering clothing
and accessories in the medium-
