January to February 2018
Canada bullish about stable clothing
market in 2018
The apparel retail industry is in a state of transition and 2018 will
prove to be an interesting year. Canada is no exception, provided
with the fact that more than 50 international retail brands entered
Canada by opening stores during 2017 and the expansion spree
is expected to continue. Further, NAFTA is still uncertain but, with
CPTPP and CETA coming as legal pacts, Canada is all set to see
stable trade all through the year. This as a whole is surely going to
impact the Canadian clothing import too in 2018 which remained
fluctuating all through 2017.
