printing area is desired. On the other hand,
prefocal lenses used in other laser machines
maintain good quality in the centre of the
printing area, but not at the edges.
Creative experts around the world constantly
come up with new denim finishes and
designs. Easing the manufacturers’ worry,
MARCA software has the ability to adapt
designs to the resolutions set in both the X
and Y directions. Designs can be transformed
and edited avoiding pre-production waste
of time. Designers also have the option of
editing with the embedded graphics editing
tool. Furthermore, the user also gets access
to the Lasertex Fade Library (LFL) that
contains thousands of designs fully available.
A
pparel manufacturers in
Bangladesh are always known
for their open mindset, welcoming
automation and new innovations with
open arms. One such technological
innovation that manufacturers
witnessed at Garmentech was the
seam sealing and bonding offered by
H&H Asia Group Ltd., Hong Kong.
Though the concept of ‘sewfree’
or ‘stitchless’ is few years old, the
understanding of its implementation in
garments was not very clear, the reason
why it was not popular before. Till
last year, the price of bonding machines
and less understanding of trims created a
hindrance in the propagation of stitchless
garments in Bangladesh market. But
things have started to change slowly.
“In one year, I have witnessed
tremendous improvement in the
understanding of the importance
of stitchless garments. People are now
becoming mature to adopt garments
which are stitchless, partially bonded
garments for now,” said Anshuman
Dash, Marketing Director of H&H.
Stitchless garments are definitely
replacing the traditional way of sewing
with thread as they serve the dual
purpose of functionality (comfort) as
well as the aesthetics. Lingerie and
sportswear which demand comfort for
the wearer facilitate a great application
of H&H bonding machines. From
aesthetics point of view, athleisure is
nowadays gaining a lot of momentum
due to its style and comfort, which
make it suitable for bonding.
However, a great deal of
patience is required while
adopting stitchless solutions as
these depend on reliability. A
number of factors need to taken
into consideration like good quality
fabric, trims, knowledge of trims
and good machines which deliver the
accuracy towards the deliverables
required for bonding application and
most importantly, the application
knowledge which is required to make
bonding well-adopted and successful
in any factory.
“We always recommend people to
try H&H solutions with the sampling
line first and understand its working.
Once successful and confident with the
sampling line, we replicate it on the
shopfloor,” affirmed Anshuman.
H&H clientele base in Bangladesh is
increasing year by year. More than
2,000 H&H machines are currently
operating in the country. The
company’s products are now being sold
in association with Juki and Smart
Tech Pvt. Ltd. in Bangladesh.
Keeping a stronghold over the after-sales
service, Eastman Technocrafts has a team of
12 engineers trained in Spain factory and will
be responsible for development, designing,
maintenance, production planning,
consultancy on dry process. Installations of
20 MACSA ID machines have already taken
place in factories in Bangladesh.
Eastman Technocrafts provides an array of
brands under its umbrella such as Morgan
Tecnica, Mingazzini, Brongo, Mactec and
SoKoChimica.
