The solution is 100 per cent free from fatty acids and amino derivatives , making it completely compliant with the brands RSL ’ s and compliances . It imparts quality finishes on super and hyper stretch fabrics . Another of our product , FORTRESS FLEX is a dispersing agent that contains an assortment of innovative ingredients that make it the ideal choice to protect the elastane fibre present in the fabrics . The compound works even in low temperatures , which prevents backstaining instances all throughout the washing procedure .”

Founded in 1980 , APxpress started trading in North London supplying printed hang tags , woven and printed labels to the local and then thriving fashion industry . Today , APxpress has 11 global offices , 3 production units and employs more than 240 people worldwide . Some of its products include embroidered patches , pin badges , flashers , hang tags , metal buttons , patches , pin badges , pocket folders , printed labels , RFID , rivets , zippers , etc .
Carlos : “ We are in the Bangladesh market for the last five years . In the last two years , the industry has grown and developed substantially and we see very good prospects in Bangladesh for the future . We are participating in the event for the first time and have got very good response from people who have shown lot of interest in our products .”

Unlike Sattar , Remi Daudet – Country Manager of TAO and Mortaes Md . Ashhabib , Wash Technician from Debenhams were in the expo for different reasons altogether . If Ashhabib came looking for sustainable chemicals , the Country Manager of the French kidswear brand was in the expo seeking sustainable denim developments in kids ’ section .
“ We are mainly selling in France , Poland , Middle East and North Africa … For our kind of products , Bangladesh is the best place for sourcing in terms of capacity , service , pricecompetitiveness , etc . As we are a specialist in kidswear , I am looking for products with eco-friendly
washes and comfortable fabrics ,” maintained Daudet .
Apart from the fabric manufacturers , the expo also witnessed participation of a large number of denim accessory and chemical manufacturers from across the globe , which was a testimony to the expo ’ s aim of offering a vibrant platform for all the stakeholders while also promoting the Bangladesh denim sector as has been underlined by the CEO of Bangladesh Denim Expo , Mostafiz Uddin . “ Bangladesh Denim Expo is designed to promote Bangladesh ’ s strengths and capacity in the manufacture of denim products . It also focuses on the latest innovations and technologies to familiarise manufacturers with them … In this issue , we have tried to show that Bangladesh is no longer a country for the procurement of simple products . Our efforts are aimed at promoting the denim industry and making it the best denim product sourcing centre ,” Mostafiz underlined .
