products for long, but last year we

two new options which we are also
displaying in this expo. The first
option is WFD (Wash Friendly
Denims), the benefit of which
actually goes to the laundry as
using this fabric laundries can save
big on chemical and water. The
other option that we have launched
this time is Ethical Black. We’re
calling it Ethical Black because as
one would know, sulphur is a very
harmful chemical, but in our Ethical
Black collection, we are using
sulphur that is neither harmful, nor
does it emanate any foul odour.”
For another major player in the
Bangladesh denim sector – Mahmud
Denim, the stress again was on
sustainability! “In this event we
are showcasing some sustainable
products, where the usage of water
and chemicals is significantly
less… Water saving is almost

20-25 denim factories
in Bangladesh and
this platform gives
us a very good
opportunity to meet
with all under the
same roof. We are
working with Ananta,
Pacific, Kenpark,
Soorty, etc.”
