This Turkeybased accessory manufacturer produces metal accessories and leather accessories since 2003.
Burak ENGINOL:“ We are nominated suppliers for some of the renowned brands like Zara, Bershka, Pull and Bear, H & M, etc. and are planning to make our foray in the Bangladesh market now. In this event, we are displaying sustainable items like leather patches, sustainable jacron patches … In buttons, we have a new collection of buttons with different kinds of stones as embellishments. All the products that we are displaying here have been especially developed for the Bangladesh Denim Expo.”

However we are very price-competitive and have wide range of colours. In our collection, we have more than 20 colours, so the customer can find many colours in one fabric,” maintains Serkan. Sharabati Denim has two mills – one in Egypt and another in Turkey. The Turkish unit is mainly catering to the European market, while the Egyptian unit is catering to Egypt, Morocco and Bangladesh.
Observed Andreas Eickelman – Sales Director for Europe, Seazon:“ In this event, we are showcasing a lot of bi-stretch denims which is our strength. We are also doing a lot of sustainable items, mostly recycled fabrics like cotton, recycled polyester, etc.”
Seazon is one of the biggest denim suppliers in China with production capacity of around hundred million yards of fabric yearly.
The wide range of products on display and the presence of various stakeholders from across the globe, turned the expo into a virtual meeting ground, where every visitor had something to look forward to and discuss about.
For Dr. Zaibi Sattar, Chairman of Policy Research Institute( an economic research organisation), it was more to understand how Bangladesh is positioned vis-àvis the global players.“ This is the first time I have come to the denim expo … From products on display, I want to understand where Bangladesh stands in terms of what others are doing. I also want to figure out what the major players from Bangladesh like Shasha, Hameem, etc. are doing in terms of attracting the major global brands …,” maintained Dr. Sattar, adding Bangladesh should maintain
