AR Forecast: Amidst economic challenges, EU to remain
positive in its apparel import
January to December 2018*
European Union is on its way to conclude the year with better import value than it witnessed in 2017, all thanks to Bangladesh
which is fiercely rising in the European market and outperforming even China as far as year-wise growth is concerned.
However, 2018 was not so easy for the countries which cater to the European market due to global economic challenges, and
unstable currency. The volume of apparel will be upped by 2.04% as compared to the prior-year, while due to low unit prices
the value of import will rise but not hamper Euro spending on the same.
