seminar titled ‘Automation
is Transformation’
W
ith the target of achieving US
$ 50 billion in apparel exports
by 2021 looming large, stakeholders
are taking all possible steps to attain
the same. If the Government has taken
multiple steps to help the RMG sector
achieve its export target by reducing
delivery time, increasing port capacity
and shipment flexibility, enabling
quicker logistic support, tax incentives
and many more, manufacturers
too are putting in their bit keeping
sustainability in perspective. Today
Bangladesh not only boasts of top
three environment-friendly garment
and textile units in the world, but the
number of green factories are also
increasing significantly. Transformation’ in the capital city

17 this year titled ‘Automation is “The technologies being offered by

apparel industries,” maintained

Ltd., Cason Yu conducted an
effective presentation explaining
how their solutions and automation
can accelerate quality production
with cost minimisation while Ben
Ho, Sales General Manager of Ngai
Shing Development Ltd. presented
few solutions that are quite superior
to solve complicated problems in the
production line.

the seminar in which discussions
were held regarding host of quality
and efficiency errors such as less
