Vietnam clothing firms should build strategies to
win local market: VITAS
The garment firms in Vietnam
should build strategies to develop
technology in order to increase their
market share in local market.
“The Vietnamese apparel firms
should work on embracing 3D
technology in fashion so as to keep
pace with the growing market.
The garment companies need to
work on strategies to build efficient
resources and for this they have to
train designers, enhance their vision
for fashion and make them aware
of all fashion trends,” said Vu Duc
Giang, Chairman, Vietnam Textile
and Apparel Association (VITAS). industrial zones including setting

in addition to investing in fibre
textile and dyeing factories.

factory in Cambodia

to open a garment unit, dubbed
Marvel Garment Company, in
Cambodia.

years, the Chinese firm broke the
ground recently, to build its US
$ 150 million factory in the Phnom
Penh Special Economic Zone.

create 17,000 jobs.
