R|Elan, the fibre of the future, worked with
designers Pankaj and Nidhi for a great collection
called ‘ArtFluence.’ Ajio.com featured their latest
looks for men and women from various brands,
which are available on their website. The INIFD
Launchpad displayed five winning designers’
collections from their branches all over India.
Lakmé Salon and Gaurang presented the ‘Garam
Masala’ collection of amazing saree weaves, from
around India, along with exciting hairstyles and
makeup trends.
SEMINARS
Amidst the glitz and glamour of fashion shows,
there were several interesting seminars held at
LFW. Bollywood star Ananya Panday was seen in
conversation with Anaita Shroff Adajania, Fashion
Director, Vogue India, discussing about positivity
and Ananya’s initiative ‘So Positive’.
Afroz Shah along with IMG Reliance discussed
the way forward for the Multi Layered Packaging
Project. The Circular Design Challenge in
collaboration with Reliance’s R|Elan Fashion for
Earth, Lakmé Fashion Week and United Nations
Environment Programme presented five finalists
of the Challenge. Malai from South India won Rs
20 lakhs as reward. The Voice of Fashion Website
with Editor Shefalee Vasudev also organised
‘Questions No one Asks’ with Bollywood
designer Manish Malhotra in the hot seat. The
Voice of Fashion Website also launched its first
Sustainability Report. Q
