FREE EYE CHECK UP CAMP AT INDORE
The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) organised a Two-Day,
Free Eye Check-up Camp for the Workmen of Garments Units on January 18 and
19, 2020, in Indore
CMAI in Association with Apparel Manufacturers
Society of Indore (AMSI) Indore conducted a
Two Day Free Eye Check-up Camp on January
17 and 18, 2020, for the Workmen of Garment
Units in Indore. The eye check-up camp was
inaugurated by Mr V M Kulkarni, Chairman – CSR
Sub Committee along with Mr Ramesh Hingorani,
Member - CSR Sub Committee, Mr Sandeep
Vasudeva – President - AMSI, Mr Kamal Siyal
– Vice President - AMSI, Mr Umesh Dembla –
Secretary AMSI and Members of AMSI. A total
of 953 workmen were checked during two day
camp. 685 workers were given free reading and
bifocal spectacles as prescribed by doctors.
Mr Kulkarni also thanked AMSI President Mr
Sandeep Vasudeva and other Officer Bearers and
Members of AMSI for taking a keen interest and
extending their support for organising the eye
check-up camp. Mr Umesh Dembla Secretary,
AMSI, thanked CMAI for reaching out to the
workmen of Indore and assured assistance in
any other activities at Indore. CMAI also thanked
the teams of doctors of Rohit Eye and Child
Care Centre, Indore, for conducting eye check-
ups for workmen and Mr Kishor Adnani of M/s
New Surya Optics for arranging the required
spectacles.
