one-year Certificate Programmes under a series
of specialisations, including Fashion Clothing and

Similarly, the Apparel Training and Design

as time management, production management,

the garment manufacturing industry today. In
addition, the students will also be trained in
soft skills, English, and computers during their
training period. The students, selected from
across the state, will be eligible for free training
along with accommodation and food. The course
also provides candidates with placements in the

Courses by Government bodies are now
also incorporating experiential learning through
laboratory and live projects. Students are being
actively taken on industry visits to nearby units, in
order to proffer them a look and feel of on-ground
realities and expectations before taking up a job
and building their career.
