Teams and 80 Players. The Auction was carried
out through specially designed Software by CMAI
Member Ajit Thadani of Retailware Softech Pvt.
Ltd, Pune. LED screens were used as Score
Boards and Special Software for Scoring was
also arranged.
In his Welcome Address, Rajiv Agarwal,
Chairman, Western Regional Committee, stated
that the Cricket Premier League has resulted in
good bonding and interaction among Members,
and that due to this, the Event will be held every
Year. He further stated that along with him, Kiran
Modgi, Hon. Reg. Secretary (Western Region),
Rakesh Oswal, Sumit Tejwani, Ajit Thadani,
Prashant Salgar, and Jignesh Bheda had worked
extremely hard for more than One Month to make
the Event a grand Success.
The semi-finals were played between Solitaire
Smashers and Peppermint Lions; and Aviina
Tigers and Modgie Warriors, while the Final match
was played between Solitaire Smashers versus
Modgi Warriors. Solitaire Smashers emerged
victorious and won the Champions’ Trophy for the
CMAI Cricket Premier League 2019.
The title Sponsor of the Event was Novel
and the Co-sponsor was Marcatex. The latter
announced a Lucky Draw Prize worth R30,000 for
the Winning Team. All the Sponsors—including
the Co-sponsor and Associate Sponsors—and
Team Owners, too, were felicitated. Trophies
were also Awarded to the Man of the Match, Best
Batsman, and Best Bowler.
Rajiv Agarwal thanked all the Sponsors and
Advertisers for having extended their Cooperation
to the Event.
This was followed by High Tea and Dinner,
which was arranged for all the Members
and Guests.
All the Members of the Western Regional
Committee, namely Santosh Katariya, Sharad
Kalyani, Dwarka Mundada, Minal Joshi, Sandesh
Megji, Bharat Parmar, and Ameya Tejwani, also
Participated in the Event.
Members of the Western Region of the
Association and Spectators appreciated the huge
Success of the League.
The Event was brought to a close with a Vote of
thanks, delivered by Sumit Tejwaney.
