CURTAIN RAISER TO THE 70TH NGF
THE 68TH NGF
The 68th NGF was held on January 30 and 31,
2019, and was spread across approximately
3,50,000 Square Feet. Although January Fairs are
organised on a relatively smaller scale than the
July Fairs, the enthusiasm with which Members
partake in them is just as palpable. For Two Days
straight, participants were knee-deep in activity—
interacting with Retailers, Buyers, and Distributors
and taking down orders. All in all, it was a
successful event and only motivated Members to
look forward to the Four-Day 69th NGF that was
to follow.
THE 69TH NGF
The 69th NGF was a massive coming-together
of Apparel Stalwarts. It took place from July 15 to
18, 2019, covering an area of 7,00,000 Square
Feet and Six expansive Halls. Having played host
to approximately 882 Participants showcasing
1,062 Brands, the 69th Edition, as had been
envisaged, truly set a benchmark for the Fairs that
would follow. Members not only Networked and
carried out immense trade throughout the Four
days but they also, with great gusto, participated
in events such as the Business Networking
Session, which was organised by CMAI. Just
like every Edition, the precision and uniformity in
terms of planning, strategising, and organising the
Fair was commendable.
NGFs are effective Platforms to build worthwhile
bonds with the who’s-who of the Apparel
Industry, along with garnering business revenues
and acquiring insights into the tales and trends
pervading the Apparel and Fashion Industries.
Having said that, both the 68th and 69th Editions
of the Fair were Successful in that they not only
garnered good Participation but also helped
Members to grow their repute, connections, and
overall Brand Identity within the purview of their
respective durations.
We are awaiting the 70th NGF with much
eagerness. Are you too?
