A MAVEN OF
MINIMALISM
The garments of Ahmedabad-based designer
Soham Dave stand out due to their simplicity
and handcrafted details. Brinda Gill profiles.
“My designs focus on comfort in wearing along with
minimalistic style,” says Soham Dave. Crafted with
handwoven fabrics of soft and deep colours bearing
minimal surface design and neat, unfussy silhouettes, and
involving endearing artisanal details, Soham’s creations
instantly appeal to the eye with their quiet, understated
aesthetic. And it is the growing appreciation for his
garments that has seen him open four stores in the last
two and a half years, apart from retailing them at multi-
designer stores in different cities.
