In a nutshell, the beginning of the Fair seemed
promising, mirroring the unbridled energy that
was to unravel in the next three days.
On the other hand, Kiran Shah from Madame
expressed, “I am a regular participant at the
NGFs. The policies regarding stall fabrication
will ensure uniformity across stalls, and that is a
thoughtful move made by CMAI.”
Kavith Sainaani from Kavith & Mukti said, “As
compared to last year, the management and
planning of the Fair has improved to an extent.
All arrangements were made beforehand. We
are primarily here for networking, to interact with
Buyers, and show them our products. What we
have on offer is luxury designer wear, and I am
hoping that my Brand reaches as many people as
it can through the Fair.”
The Business Networking Session and Udaan
Networking Session were scheduled for the
second and third days of the Fair respectively.
While the former brought together Manufacturers,
Agents, and Distributors under one roof, the
latter was an informative programme, which let
participants in on the inner workings of Udaan,
illustrating how they can benefit from listing their
Brand with the portal. This was followed by an
open interaction between Manufacturers and
representatives of Udaan towards the end of
the session.
Even though the market remains a bit
sluggish, the 69th NGF received great footfalls.

DAY TWO
The exhilaration that was felt during the closure of
Day One of the Fair, carried itself forward to Day
Two. By now, Manufacturers and Retailers had
acclimated to the Fair, and were looking forward
to what the remaining three days held in store
for them.
As activities of Day Two commenced, the
trade camaraderie that blossomed between
the stakeholders of the Apparel Industry was
evidently motivating.
As was the case with Day One, the planning
and execution of the Fair on such a large scale
was quite admirable. The 69th NGF makes for
a distinguished, all-encompassing platform for
all the Exhibitors of the Fair to step forward and
showcase their Brands to their customers to the
best of their abilities. The participants willingly and
eagerly interacted with Buyers, and took down
numerous booking orders too.
Apparel spoke to some of the participants at
the Fair.
Preeti Pareekh from Saksh Design Studio said,
“Before participating in the Fair, we hardly knew
anybody from the Apparel Industry. We have been
associated with the NGF for the sixth year now,
and I can say that it has definetely helped us to
establish and expand our network.”
Kamlesh Jain from Rio-Grande Jeans, said,
“Every year, the Fair attracts the best Buyers,
Agents, and Distributors of the country. The NGFs
are a platform where the presentation, marketing,
and appeal of a Brand is elevated. Today, we
market our products to nearly 20 cities, and this
has been made possible only by CMAI. The Fair
not only makes it easier for Exhibitors to sell their
products on a comprehensive platform but also
helps Buyers to discover Manufacturers from
