BIKINI BONANZA
Nothing looks more glamorous than a bikini on
the beach or in the pool for summer 2019. The
colour story takes inspirations from the rainbow
as a mélange of pink, jade, ice blue, red, orange,
sun yellow and of course black and white add to
the shade card. But it’s the styles and silhouettes
that are scintillating and will definitely encourage
women to take a dive into the water wearing them.
The simple black or white two-piece is still the hot
favourite, but designers feel that a one-shoulder
style in jade with ruffles or a black printed one
with high-waisted briefs and a beach robe works
really well.
Bright floral halters come with tiny straps, which
are worn with solid bikini briefs. The trinkinis work
well with spaghetti or halter strings, but the gypsy-
style off-shoulder blouse with matching printed
briefs has a flamboyant look. Interesting bikinis with
stringy briefs or a gorgeous two-toned white and
navy one with off-shoulder looks classy. For total
seduction, the flesh-coloured satin bikini with gold
metallic ring detailing for straps is a ‘must-have’.
Of course, nothing can beat the glamour and
dramatic appeal of the bright red bikini.
