WHEN DO YOU WANT TO START YOUR CAREER?
Career Clusters are groupings of occupation and career specialties that are used as an organizing tool for identifying potential life-long careers available now in Lakeville. This guide is designed as a tool to assist job seekers at all levels in choosing a career that fits their skills and passion, but ultimately gain employment in a high-demand job in targeted sectors within Lakeville.
Each inDemand Career Cluster and the related opportunities do not require a 4 year college degree. Instead, every career found in this guide requires just a High School Diploma and some require additional training or certification. In the Lakeville Area there are many high paying careers available right out of high school.

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY
Young Entrepreneurs Academy( YEA!) is a groundbreaking academic program taking students through the process of starting and running real businesses. Lakeville Chamber and Lakeville schools launched this national program as a first of its kind in Minnesota for students’ grades 6-12 to offer an opportunity to learn how to establish and operate their own business.
Students will work with a mentor to develop a business plan for a product, service or social movement. Students then pitch their ideas“ live” to a panel of investors to obtain funding and launch their venture. For more information on the next program scheduled for school 2017-18, visit yeaLakeville. com
